Obituary for Raymond C Sauter

Raymond C. Sauter 87 of Bergenfield passed away November 6, 2017. Before retiring in 1997 he was a Quality Assurance Manager for Honeywell International, Inc., Teterboro where he worked for 38 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Beloved husband for 66 years to Elizabeth nee Richards. Devoted father of Barbara N. Mortenson, husband Jerome; Ellen S. Zuban, husband Roberto; Raymond S., III; and the late Virginia McGovern, husband Richard. Loving grandfather of Roberto M. and Jessica L. Zuban. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Gertrude Sauter and his sister Elizabeth Legaspi. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield Friday morning at 9 for the Funeral Mass at the Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Thursday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck, or Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack would be appreciated.
