Albert E. Sproul, Jr

Albert E. Sproul, Jr., 89, of Demarest, NJ, passed away on May 10, 2016. Al's wife, Charlotte, predeceased him. He is survived by his brother, David Sproul, and David's children and grand-children; and by his daughter, Janet Sproul Robinson and her two children. Al graduated from Teaneck High and was an Eagle Scout. After service in the U.S. Navy at the end of W. W. II, he received a B.S. from Colgate University. He and his brother were principals in his father's insurance business, Donnelly & Sproul in Hackensack until he retired. Al served as a Trustee and Deacon at the Presbyterian Church at Tenafly and a board member and Past President of Rotary Club in Hackensack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of The Presbyterian Church at Tenafly or the Scholarship Fund of Rotary Club of Hackensack. Memorial Service at The Presbyterian Church at Tenafly, 55 Magnolia Ave., Tenafly, NJ on Saturday, June 11, at 11:00 A.M.
