Alison Leigh Verga 35 of Dumont, NJ passed away peacefully at Villa Marie Claire Hospice Center on November 11, 2016 surrounded by family. Alison is survived by her loving parents, Edward and Elizabeth Verga of Dumont, NJ; Brother Brian Verga of Rochelle Park, NJ and Nephew James. Paternal grandmother, Dorothea Verga; Dear niece of Joseph and Judith Verga, Isabelle Driscoll, Lillian Graviano, Carl and Karen Verga, Dorothy Verga, Margaret and Michael Doheny and Rosemarie Kiebs. She was born and raised in Dumont, NJ, graduated from Dumont High School and worked for her father's family businesses until his retirement. Although Alison's illness made her appear frail, she exhibited a strength and determination to overcome incredible odds; allowing her to have added time with friends and family. Family, friends and others whose lives Alison touched are invited to reminisce, grieve and support each other and of course, just chat. Following a private cremation there will be memorial visiting on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 2-6 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield with the memorial service at 5:30 PM. Memorial donations in Alison's name may be sent to Villa Marie Claire Hospice, 12 W Saddle River Rd., Saddle River, NJ 07458.
