Ambrosa Pearl Ilgner

Ambrosa Pearl Ilgner nee Satchell, affectionately known as Aunt Pearl, was born on May 9, 1931 in Swain Spring, Padmore, St. Andrew, Jamaica to Sybil Matthews and Oswald Satchell and went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2024.

Pearl was the oldest of six children. She met and married the love of her life Isaac George Ilgner on September 12, 1956.  Pearl and Isaac loved each other dearly and had two children Grace and Michael.

Pearl was an excellent baker and homemaker and was a tower of strength in her community of Glendale in St. Andrew Jamaica where the kids would gather to enjoy her delicious cakes and pastries.  She was an inspiration to all and quiet motivator to those in need. Their home at 6 Beverly Path was open to all the children in the neighborhood.

Ambrosa Pearl was an ardent church goer and loved spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Isaac George, her sister, Avis, her grandson, Shevato and her brother Talman.  She is survived by her daughter Grace, her son Michael, her sister Carol Smith, her brothers Ransford Raymore, Carlton Satchell, Linton Satchell and ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
