With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Andrea Alvarez Arias, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on March 25th, 2026, surrounded by family and love.

Andrea was born on March 22nd, 1946, in Las Lagunas de Moca, Dominican Republic, to Antonio Alvarez and Alejandrina Arias. From the very beginning, Andrea, better known as Mamina, radiated kindness, strength, and grace. She carried these qualities with her throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

She spent her career dedicated to serving others, as both a nurse and homemaker, serving her community and family for over 60 years. Her compassion knew no bounds, and was capable of making anyone smile. Outside of work, Andrea loved cooking, word puzzles, and laughing with her loved ones. Her vibrance and sense of humor filled every room.

Andrea was a caring wife, the proud mother of two children, the loving grandmother of six, and a faithful sister to seven siblings. Her greatest joy came from being with her family, where her presence was the heart of every gathering.

Andrea's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
