Andrew (Andy) DePietro, 83, of Bergenfield, NJ 

September 15, 1942 – October 3, 2025

With profound sadness, we share that Andrew (Andy) Vincent DePietro, 83, passed away peacefully in his home in Bergenfield, New Jersey, on October 3, 2025.

Originally from Cliffside Park, NJ, Andy began his career as an electrician, working proudly alongside his father and brother. He was a dedicated and respected member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 164 of Paramus for 55 years before retiring. During his retirement he remained involved with the union community he deeply valued.

Andy is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Joan DePietro, and his loving daughters: Lynne (Dean Lewis), Denise (Dave Cronin), and Dina DePietro. He was a cherished grandfather to Ashley (Somers Steelman), AJ, Sarah, Anthony, and Morgan. Andy was a proud great-grandfather to Luna, Somers Vincet, and Arya, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew (Andy) and Theresa (Grace) and his beloved brother, Robert (Bob).

Andy was an avid biker and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He found joy and camaraderie in the open road and the community of riders. He created countless memories through his individual rides and road trips with his dear friends.

His youthful spirit, warm personality, and genuine kindness endeared him to everyone he met. He will be remembered for his humor, his deep love for his family, and the joy he brought to others.

Andy’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
