Anne N. Minko

Anne N. Minko (nee Dragon) passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.  She was 97 years old.

 Anne was born on April 12,1926 to Ukrainian immigrants, John and Eugenia (nee Pitula) Dragan.  She was raised on a small farm in Hackensack and was a graduate of Hackensack High School.  

After marrying the love of her life, John Minko, Anne settled on 4th Street in Bergenfield where she raised her two sons, John A. and William.  She would remain there until her passing in 2024.  Anne was an active member of the VFW Post #6467 Lady Auxiliary and Saint John's Golden Age Club in Bergenfield for decades.  She cherished being a mom, grandma, dog mom and more recently, a great-grandmother.  

Anne is predeceased by her parents, John and Eugenia Dragon, her husband, John Minko, grandson, Michael T. Minko and siblings, Nicolas, Anthony and Alice Jean Dragan.  She is survived by her sons, John A., his wife Darlene; William Minko; her granddaughter, Marianne and her husband, Joseph and their children, Anne's great-grandchildren, Joseph J. and Micaela.

Visitation is Monday, March 11, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield.
