Arthur J. Nemetz

Arthur J Nemetz, age 88, of Bergenfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026.

Arthur was born on April 1, 1938, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Adolph and Rosalina Nemetz.

Arthur graduated from high school and spent his working years as an electrician at Lever Bros. and General Foods.

In 1962 he married his beloved wife, Audrey, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years before his passing.

Arthur was known for being out on his boat fishing and crabbing at the Jersey shore.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey, his daughter in-law Marycarmen, and his two cherished grandchildren Jonathan and Emily.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Dale Ann and son Arthur (Buddy) Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Riewerts Memorial Home in Bergenfield, New Jersey on Sunday August 30th from 2 through 4pm.
