William “Bill” G. Mayser, Jr., of Bergenfield, NJ, entered eternal rest on June 28, 2025. He was 91 years old.
Bill was born in Teaneck, NJ to William and Mildred Mayser (nee Yunginger) on August 17, 1933.
Survived by his wife Beverly Mayser; daughter Darlene Mayser; Wendy Mayser, (sister-in-law); Harry McGillicuddy, Sr. (brother-in-law); his nieces /nephews and great nieces/nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his son William A. Mayser. Also, predeceased by his brothers Alan and John.
Bill was a Veteran. He joined the Army and was in the 11th Airbourne Division. After his service, Bill worked for Bell Telephone Companies (Verizon) for 35 years when he retired. He then had his own communications company for several years.
Bill loved the outdoors. He had his boat for many years and liked to travel on the Hudson River, Lake George and fishing at the Shore. He became an expert skier, an avid golfer, bicyclist and hiker. He had a love for animals and nature.
Visiting hours will be from 2-5pm on Saturday July 12, 2025 with a prayer service starting at 2pm.
