Billy and I worked as partners for most of the last year, or so, that I worked at the DPW, many years ago. He was a hard worker, always had a smile, and never complained. I would have to say that it was almost fun working the job with him. Back then, with the way he treated the job as a workout, along with his visits to the gym, I thought his body would never give out. I was sorry to hear that he passed. May he Rest In Peace.

I worked with Billy for 37 years. He always had a smile and an infectious laugh. I can hear him now….Look Bob I got my wings and they are great. Rest In Peace my friend. We will see you again in heaven.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Bill at the DPW for 11 years. He would always make me laugh and we shared many good stories when we were in each other's company! Bill was a hard worker and never complained. He would brighten anyone's day with his stories and you couldn't help but laugh at his comments. After I left the DPW to raise my family, I would see Bill from time to time and he never changed. Smiling, laughing and giving me the biggest hello. Bill was truly a very special person to everyone who knew him. All of we DPW employees watched over Bill and made sure he was treated right. He was like a family member and everyone's friend. It broke my heart when I heard Bill had passed. I will never forget him or his infectious laugh. Rest in paradise Bill until we meet again.
