Brian E. DeGroff

Brian E. DeGroff on June 30, 2016 of New Milford Brian was an employee of Liberty Subaru and a retired Manager from The Record, Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Bergenfield. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Camp Merritt Post 21, Cresskill; Patriot Guard Riders and Veteran Riders. Beloved husband of Elaine A. DeGroff (nee LaSala). Devoted father of Lindsay and Brian C. DeGroff. Dear brother of Eileen M. Platt and the late Dennis. Cherished son of the late Charles E. and Dorothy M. DeGroff. Loving uncle of the late Stephen D. Platt and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. All will meet at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, on Wednesday, at 9am prior to the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, at 10am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Tuesday 3-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Adopt a Soldier Platoon, PO Box 111, Fair Lawn, NJ 08410 (www.adoptasoldierplatoon.org) would be appreciated.
