Carl E. Jakobsen

Carl Erik Jakobsen, age 96, died Thursday, December 24, 2020.  Born in Agerup, Denmark, Carl made his home in Bergenfield.  He served in the Merchant Marines and later became a home contractor.  Carl was predeceased by Florence, his wife of sixty years.  Surviving is a son Paul of Midland Park and his wife Ann Marie.  He was predeceased by his son James.  Also surviving are his four grandchildren, James of Tavernier, Florida, Erik of Waldwick, Christine Pergola and her husband Dan of Allendale, and Kerri Parelhoff and her husband Sam of Bergenfield.  Also surviving are four great grandchildren.  Services for Carl will be private.
