It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Mama, Cel.

Mama loved the Lord with all her heart and faithfully served Him through her church family at NJBC. Her faith was evident in the way she lived—always caring for others, encouraging those around her, and pointing people to God’s love through her words and actions.

More than anything, Mama cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to Apa Butz, a loving mother to Lyra and Royce, and a proud grandmother whose love knew no bounds. She found great joy in spending time with family, creating memories, sharing meals, celebrating milestones, and simply being together.

While our hearts are broken and we will miss her deeply, we are grateful for the love, faith, and legacy she leaves behind. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for, loved, and supported Mama and our family throughout this journey. Her life touched so many, and she will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her.

There will be visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home on Friday June 12th from 4-9pm. There will be a celebration of life service hosted by NJBC at NVFEC (75 Stivers St. Cresskill, NJ 07626) on Saturday June 13th from 11-4pm.
