Charles, A. Amoruso of Bergenfield passed away on January 19, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Ellen Amoruso. Loving father of Carol Caravelli and the late Anthony Amoruso and his wife Barbara. Dear brother of the late Grace Barrella, Anthony J. Amoruso and sister-in-law Frances Gerstl. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Goldstein, Michael and his wife Jennifer Amoruso, Danny Caravelli, Jonathan and Amanda Amoruso, and Vinny Caravelli and great grandfather to Victoria and her husband William Crossno, Jay and Samantha Goldstein and great great grandfather of Elena Crossno.. Charles served in WW II as a Medic, was a member of Bergenfield Memorial Post #6467 V.F.W., a credit supervisor for the U.S. Post Office and will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9pm at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9am for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10am. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly.
