Charles F. Rode

Charles F. Rode (Charlie), age 39 formerly of Bergenfield, NJ died suddenly in Stroudsburg, PA on June 3, 2015. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Carolyn Leitgeb and Donald Rode. Husband of Heather Matthews Rode. Devoted father of Jesse and Jayna Rode. Beloved brother of Christopher and his wife Jessica and Jeffrey Rode. He is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews who he adored. Before his injury, Charlie worked for Bridge and Structural Steel Painters Local 806 in NY. Charlie had an infectious smile and always wanted everyone around him happy. Along with his family, he will be missed by many friends, especially his best friend Sandy Mordvinov. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the funeral service at 8:30PM. Cremation will be private.
