Charlotte A. Goetschius

Goetschius Charlotte "Charlie" Ann (nee Klomburg), age 88, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2015. A resident of Bergenfield for over 62 years, she was a graduate of the American Institute of Banking and devoted her life to her family and friends. She had a love for the seashore, gardening, and the peace of nature--which she passed down to her children and extended family. She put her magic green thumb to work for many years while employed at D'Angelo Farms in Dumont. Predeceased by her loving husband George Sr., daughter Lorraine McDonnell, and sister Ruth. Survived by her loving son George Jr. and wife Muriel of Northvale and brother Albert Klomburg of Allendale. Adored Grandma "Charlie" to Jaclyn Larson, James Goetschius and Kristen McDonnell. Beloved Aunt "Charlie" to many nieces and nephews. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Monday from 4-8 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
