Claire Louise Greenleaf

Claire Louise Greenleaf, The Angels came down to carry Claire to Heaven to be with her Heavenly Father for eternal rest. Born May 29, 1919 in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of Winfield and Veronique Caminade Greenleaf. She was the granddaughter of the late Samuel H. Greenleaf. Claire was a devoted Christian and an avid Republican. She had a special love for cats and roses. She loved traveling and had the pleasure of a trip to Europe and several cruises. In her later years she enjoyed breakfast at Matthews Diner every morning with all the regulars. Claire graduated from Dwight Morrow High School in 1937 and was employed by IBM in New York City in Administration. Claire is survived by two sisters, Ruth Greenleaf Dymond and Janet Greenleaf Del Prete. She is also survived by five nieces whom she adored: Linda Del Prete Agrati (Guy), Lois Henderson Weasner, Barbara Del Prete Doll (Lynn), Carol Del Prete Arslanian and Jean Del Prete Feichtl and Judy Greenleaf Brandt, a cousin. She was predeceased by her brother Winfield Scott Greenleaf, her brother-in-law Charles Del Prete and sister-in-law Libby Greenleaf. She is survived by 12 great nieces and nephews and 15 great-great nieces and nephews. Burial is at Hackensack Cemetery on September 4th at 1 PM. Arrangements are by Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.
