Connor G. Walsh

WALSH, Connor G. 23 died unexpectedly in New Milford on Jan 5, 2017. Beloved son of William and Alice Walsh (nee Gorczycki). Devoted grandson of the late Mary and William Walsh as well as the late Sophie and Edmund Gorczycki. Dear nephew to many aunts and uncles. Dear cousin to Megan, Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Kaely, Alexa and Cory and great-nephew and great-cousin to many. A 2008 graduate of St. Joseph's School, Oradell and 2012 graduate of Don Bosco Prep, Ramsey, Connor was an Eagle Scout, EMT, certified 911 NECI and EMD Dispatcher. He had an Associate's degree in Homeland Security and wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. He was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed football, wrestling, baseball and was a car enthusiast. He also devoted many hours of service to his local community. Most of all, Connor cherished his most faithful dog companion, Casey who predeceased him earlier last year. Connor will always be remembered for his fun-loving personality, beautiful smile, genuine ability to make others laugh and his extraordinary impact on others. Connor was a proud organ donor. Our son is a super hero! We find comfort and solace knowing that he lives on thru others. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established in his memory: Connor G. Walsh Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o St. Joseph's School, 305 Elm Street, Oradell, NJ 07649. Wake will be held 3-8 pm on Wednesday, Jan 11, at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Dear Connor, Let it be remembered that only one month ago on January 5, 2017 God chose to take you away from us. .Its only been one month and it feels like an eternity..God for some reason has sentenced and condemned me to a life of grief, pain and sorrow, where as I've committed no crime to deserve such a loss so great as the passing of my son and "My Buddy". I know you would say STOP shedding tears "Pops", Its ok to move on and try as hard as it may be to be happy without me. Like this Is even possible. Every Moment, every step is you and all I think about. Let it also be known that when I depart this world I will be hold you hand till eternity as I will be right beside you where the early morning sun will shine bright on our faces. And then and only then will we REST IN PEACE together. Love you "Buddy" Dad

Freckle, we are extremely sorry to hear about your loss. We sorry we weren't there. We didn't hear until after the wake. If he was anything like you, he must have been an incredible person. May he rest in peace. You are in our prayers and thoughts.

I'm so sorry to hear this! You were a very sweet person and I pray that God heals your family's heart and gives them peace in this time of grief. Heaven has gained another angel and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know that Met life is gonna miss you! The pepsi gate will never be the same :(

Dear Bill and Alice, I'm lost for words and deeply sadden in hearing the recent news. Conner will always be remembered by me and my family as a handsome, bright and respectful young man with a caring and selfless heart. I pray to our Lord to comfort you and all those that knew and were touched by the true heart and spirit of Connor. He will never be forgotten by me.

Dear Alice and William, my deepest condolences for the terrible loss of Connor. I met Connor in few occasions and I always remember his great personality and Charisma. I will not forget how excited he was with his new beautiful Ford Mustang when he showed it to me in your garage. He mentioned that he could not get it out in the rain. Rest in Peace. Love you.
