Darlene A Amato

Darlene A. Amato (nee Von Savage), age 70, of Bergenfield, NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2021.  Born and raised in Long Island City, NY, she and her husband settled in Bergenfield in 1975.  Mrs. Amato worked for the FBI and prior to retiring, she worked for Rosenthal Appraisals in Tenafly, NJ.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend.

Beloved wife of Alan Amato.  Loving mother of Resa Amato and Justin Amato and his wife Christina. Cherished grandmother of Alianna and Landen Helm and Isabelle and Raymond Amato.  

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, July 30, 2021, 3-7 pm at Riewerts Memorial Home 187 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ.  Cremation will be private.
