David G. Speers

David G. Speers of Paramus formerly of Bergenfield passed away on April 19, 2021. Beloved husband of Carol Speers. Loving father of Anissa Caleca and her husband Joseph and David Speers. Dear brother of Kathleen Berry and Jean Silverman and brother-in-law of Jay Silverman, Christine Morales, and Silverio Morales. Cherished grandfather of Keira and Matthew and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents David and Emily, brother-in-laws Reginald Berry and Joseph Adamski. David was a computer analyst for Metlife. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps for many years serving as Treasurer, Vice President, and President. He also volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in Lakewood, NJ. He was an avid Bowler and also a loyal Yankee fan. He will be missed by his family and friends. Visiting Friday 10-11:30 AM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 AM for the funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 12 Noon. Cremation Private.
