Dawn R. Ennis

Dawn Ruth Ennis died suddenly on the evening of April 28, 2020 while preparing to leave for work.

Dawn was a native of Jersey City but a resident of Lakewood for almost twenty years. She was a registered nurse her entire professional career and nursing was part of her life.

Dawn was pre-deceased by her parents, William Calvin Ennis Jr. and Alice Rosalie Swingle. She also was a devoted sister to Rev. Mark William Ennis of Bergenfield and his wife, Rev. Dr. Pamela Pater Ennis.

She was most fond of her nieces, Rebecca Anne Ennis-Paez of Woodland Park, and Rev. Leah Elizabeth Ennis of Boonton. She adored her grand nephews, Zechariah Dunlap-Ennis and Marco Emmanuel Paez-Ennis.

Cremation will be private. A memorial service celebrating Dawn’s life will be held when the Covid-19 quarantine has ended.
