Delores Eloise Richardson Harris-Harrison

In loving memory of Delores Eloise Richardson Harris-Harrison, we are saddened to announce their passing on November 26th, 2021 in Bergenfield, New Jersey. Delores was a Harlem girl, born on July 21st, 1932 and raised in New York City. From the early death of her father and the strong determination displayed by her mother in raising her brother and herself, Delores gained a strong will to work her way out of poverty. This drive led to her involvement with churches such as the Historical Black Church and the Riverside Church in New York City. Delores was a graduate of Columbia University where she earned her B.A. in Anthropology. She would go on to earn further degrees such as a Masters of Arts, Masters of Education, and a Doctorate in Education.
A viewing is planned for Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at Riewerts Memorial Home located on 187 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Her funeral service will follow immediately after.
