Eileen M. McDonald

Eileen M. McDonald, 56, of Bergenfield, NJ passed away on October 7, 2014, at Englewood Hospital surrounded by her family. Eileen was born in the Bronx, New York, and lived in Bergenfield her entire life. She worked as a payroll specialist for 29 years at Englewood Hospital, Englewood, NJ. Eileen was Irish to the core and proud of it. She was an avid gardener, outstanding cook and a life-long lover of animals. No one loved to laugh, have fun or enjoy a good time more than Eileen. She was also blessed to have so many good friends. Eileen was predeceased by her beloved parents John P. and Mary (nee Kenny) and her brother Jack. She is survived by her two sisters: Patricia Mack and her husband Norman of Jackson, NJ, and Catherine Goodwin and her husband Arthur of Sparta, NJ, as well as her brother Thomas of Bergenfield, NJ. She is also survived by her much-loved nieces and nephews: Bryan Mack, Keriellen Mack, Matthew McDonald, Kevin Goodwin, Meghan Goodwin, Alison McDonald Marone, and Ryan McDonald. A memorial service will be held at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ, on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 1 -3 pm.
