Elaine M. Mischler

Elaine M. Mischler (nee Carbone), 84, of Bergenfield passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022. In her final moments, she was holding the hands of her "double trouble" twins, Jeffrey Mischler and Lynn Ciccia, who brought light into her world. Elaine was the devoted and beloved wife of the late Walter H. Mischler. Their marriage of 61 years was spent in bliss, while traveling and enjoying the sunshine. Elaine was the proud Grammy to her two grandchildren Paul Jr. and Allisa Ciccia. She was the older sister of Joyce Carbone and the loving mother-in-law to Paul Ciccia Sr. Elaine has left her loved ones with joy-filled memories. She is now in the loving embrace of the Lord, alongside Walter. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield will be on Friday from 4-8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11 AM at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 29 N Washington Avenue, Bergenfield. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your choice of charity or Church.
