Eleanor Myhren Vestol (nee Myhren), 94 of Palisades Park, NJ  passed away in her home on December 21, 2023 @ 8:15AM.  She was born on December 29, 1928 in Teaneck, NJ.  She was daughter to Gunerius and Anna Myhren.  She was the sister to five brothers who all predeceased her; Ole, Gunnar, Ernest, Ralph, & William.  

Eleanor was married to her beloved husband, Kristen Vestol for 58 years until his passing in 2013.  They shared a life filled with love for the family and their love of their Lord Jesus.  She had a strong faith and was always eager to share her story and love of Jesus to anyone and everyone she would encounter.

Eleanor worked for the telephone company as an operator before she left to take care of her family and ultimately served as secretary of Bergen Carpenters for the family business.

Eleanor was predeceased by her firstborn child, Ellen(survived by Erling).  Survived by her children Ruth(Erik), Anne(Mario), Bill(Christine), and Elisabeth(Tim).  Grandmother to David, Scott, Daniel, Stephen, Karin, Kristina, Katie, Allison, Megan, Jennifer, Kayla, Kurtis, Kevin, Clifford, Nicolas, Erik, and Jenna.  Great Grandmother to Gianna, Erik, Olivia, Tyler, Henry, Grant Walker, Josiah, Eden, Delia, Delaney, Anthony, Brandon, Jackob, Helios, Penelope, Ajax, Jaxson, Troy, Adaline, Levi, Julian, and Lana.  

The family is requesting that no flowers be given due to allergies but rather donations be made to Calvary Church of Bergenfield.
