Ella Grosskopf

On March 5, Ella Grosskopf (nee Silvestri) passed from this life at the age of 98, to meet again with the many loved ones who have gone on before her.

Formerly of the Bronx NY, Ella raised her three children in Paramus and later moved to Maywood, living the last 5+ years with her daughter and family in Bergenfield, in the former vacation home that Ella’s parents had built in 1927.

Ella is predeceased by her husband, John, as well as her two daughters, Vita (aka Sky) and Carol. Ella is also predeceased by her loving siblings, Rose, Mae, Ann, and Sal.

She is survived by her youngest daughter, Janice Stucki, son-in-law, Mark, and granddaughter, Siena. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Rebecca, many loving nieces, nephews, and their extended families, as well as her beloved Tonkinese cat, Athena.

Memorial visitation will be on March 9 from 1pm to 5pm at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave, Bergenfield. A short memorial service will be held at Riewerts at 4:30pm.

Interment to be private.
