Evelyn A. Fortsch

Evelyn A. Fortsch (nee Kenney), 95, a resident of Bergenfield since 1961 passed away on February 9, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a retired Salesperson for the Florence Shop Men's Department in Bergenfield for 26 years. A Parishioner of St. John's Church, she was a member of the Rosary Society and the St. John's Golden Age Club. She also was a volunteer at the Actor's Home in Englewood. Devoted wife of Robert E. Fortsch who died in 1995 after 54 years of marriage. Beloved mother of Robert Fortsch and his wife Patricia Kieck. Dear sister of the late William Kenney. Loving aunt of Robert Kenney. Visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will meet at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Saturday at 9:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
