Feliciano M. Bunquin Jr, 66 of Quezon City, Philippines passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025 after a valiant fight with cancer. Born on January 2 1959, in his hometown of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro in the Philippines, he was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, little brother, great uncle, and an honorable man. Fondly known as Tito Boy or Kuya Boy, our dear Papa was hard-working and dedicated. He spent years working as an Electrical engineer in the traffic control center in Manila and continued his work in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia for a couple of years. He then decided to go back home to establish the family textile business in Manila with our Mama Precy. He was known for happy disposition. He prefers a calm demeanor while having a strong work ethic, often prioritizing practicality and reason over emotions. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Papa's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed watching basketball and often spending his weekends playing his favorite sport tennis. His love for listening to music and bonding with our pet dogs and cats were something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
Though Papa Boy may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of kindness and generosity and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He considered his staff, neighbors and friends a cherished family member in their own right. His legacy will continue to influence the community he loved so dearly. His life, though not bound by blood to many, was rich with memories and deeply rooted relationships that shaped his legacy. He is survived by his wife of 38 years- Eufrocina, his children Gladys (Larry) and Anamay (Justine) grandchildren Lara and Miles, elder sisters Aniceta (Tawel) and Zenaida ( Rod), his nieces, nephews, great grand nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends A simple obituary cannot fully encapsulate our Papa’s life, but it serves as a tribute to a man who was greatly loved and will be truly missed. His life story is a vivid picture of dedication and service, leaving others inspired by his personal kindness.
A memorial service will be held on August 30, 2025 from 4-7pm at Riewerts Memorial Home
