Floralba Santos

Floralba “Flora” Santos, age 37, of Bergenfield, NJ, passed away on April 3rd, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Flora was born on June 20, 1988 in Bonao, Dominican Republic. She was a lifelong educator, dedicated to inspiring and nurturing minds of all ages. She not only impacted her students, but also inspired her colleagues, friends, and family; encouraging all those around her to grow, improve, and always aspire for more.

She had a deep love of reading, which was her favorite hobby, and she brought warmth, joy, and laughter to everyone around her. Flora was the kind of person who never wanted to be a burden to anyone. Even in her final days, she continued to think of others first, always trying to bring a smile to those around her.

Above all, Flora cherished her family. She was a devoted mother and loving wife, and her greatest joy came from her two sons. She also treasured her large, tight-knit family of six siblings, and their gatherings were always full of love, laughter, and shared memories. Her love and devotion strengthened everyone around her.

Flora is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Suazo, and her two beloved sons, Jace and Nate Suazo; her parents, Florentino and Ana Santos; her six siblings and their spouses; her nieces and nephews; and a large, loving extended family.

Flora’s kindness, selflessness, and love of learning will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

There will be a wake service on Monday, April 6th from 4-8pm. The Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at St. John the Evangelist RC church in Bergenfield at 11:30am. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
