George Charalambous, 88, of Bergenfield passed away on May 21, 2018. Born in Foinikaria, Cyprus he came to the USA in 1947. He was a retired Restauranteur owning and operating several restaurants including The Chuck Wagon in Union City. Devoted husband of the late Antigone Charalambous. Beloved father of Melanie Bellanich and her husband John and Theodore Charalambous and his wife Tania. Loving grandfather of George, Angie, Christina, Angie and Christian. Dear brother of Evrithiki, Eva, Androulla and the late Aglaia, Elizabeth and Meropi. Visiting Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. There will be a Funeral Service at St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 353 E Clinton Ave., Tenafly on Thursday at 10AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
