A master carpenter, he retired from Industrial Displays and Exhibits in 1987 as a partner in the firm. For 37 yrs. he and Fanny were avid square dancers dancing around the country; members of Tenafly Twirlers and Happy Squares forging enduring friendships that exist today. Dad enjoyed taking care of his home, playing scrabble with "Luce"; talking daily to "Hop" and "Little Hop"; and building and fixing things with "Dust" A gentle, kind man, Big George could seemingly repair anything which he often did for most anyone who asked. He was loved by young and old, his friends and his devoted family; he is greatly missed and remains forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave, Bergenfield, Saturday March 21st, 1pm.
