George A. Olson

George A, Olson, 88, of Whiting formerly of Bergenfield passed away on February 25, 2018. Born in Bergenfield, he was a Real Estate Broker for DAK Realty in Rochelle Park. He was Past President of the Bergenfield Lions Club, the Bergenfield Friends of Music and the former Bergenfield Baseball League. Devoted husband of Diane J. Olson (nee Bejot). Beloved father of Lisa Hansen, Kristine Ousley, Fritz Leip, Erik Olson and Kari Olson, Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Dear brother of Esther Busund and the late Robert Olson. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with a service each evening at 8:30 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
