Gerard J. Miano, 91, of Bergenfield passed away on May 26, 2018. Born in Bronx, NY he worked as a Chef at Libonati’s Restaurant and Wally’s Restaurant in Bergenfield. A member of the Elk’s Lodge, he was a man that loved trips to Atlantic City with his family. Beloved husband of Claudette Miano. Devoted dad of Deano Miano and his wife Tanya Oyola. Cherished son of the late Nunzio and Lucia Miano. Dear brother of Tony, Michael, Dominick Miano and Nancy Martin. Loving grandfather of Lucia, Deanna, Geraldine and Cecilia Miano. Also many nieces and nephews, Nancy, Tom, Martin, Larry, Ricky, Tony, Nina, Robert, Michael, Stevie and Sussie Miano. In memory you will always stay, sadly missed day after day. Gone are the days we used to share, but in our hearts you will always be there. If tears were a stairway, and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. Visiting Thursday, May 31, 2018 from  4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
