Gertrude E. Maietta

Gertrude, E. Maietta 90 of Manchester formerly of Bergenfield passed away on December 13, 2014. She was a resident of Bergenfield from 1958 to 1985 when she moved to Manchester. Loving wife of the late Carmine Maietta. Beloved mother of Christine Maietta-Laino and the late Joseph Maietta. Dear sister of Margaret Nickels, the late Mildred Lois Marasse, Leona Burger, George Clark, Charles Clark, and Edwin Clark. Cherished grandmother of Brian, Michael, and Francis Silvia and great grandmother of Payten and Zander Silvia and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She worked for Rudco Checks in Teaneck, NJ. A long time parishioner of St Johns and a member of the Paramus Elks BPOE #2001. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 10 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11 AM. Entombment Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Paramus Elks BPOE #2001.
