Gloria Paciello (nee Lindstrom) 90 of Manahawkin, claimed the promise of the resurrection on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.  Born in the Bronx on December 27, 1933, she was youngest daughter of seven children of Gustav and Adina Lindstrom.

 On September 30, 1956, Gloria married Anthony “Tony” Paciello at the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in the Bronx.  While living in the Bronx, Gloria and Tony established their own business known as the “Deli-Dairy”, that included catering meals for many residents and businesses in the community.

Their son, Stephen Richard, was born on July 14, 1970.  Stephen is married to the former Kelly Ruby, and together they have three children, Adina (24), Krista (21) and Michael (15). Gloria took great delight in watching all three of her grandchildren’s talents in acting and singing mature through the years, as they have become wonderfully talented stage performers, as well as thoughtful, kind-hearted individuals, just like their granny!

Gloria was involved in her local church. She enjoyed ice skating, playing the piano, and a good game of tennis with friends. Every year she would host a Christmas Eve dinner for the family and took every opportunity to gather with family and friends at lunches and picnics.

Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Tony (2009); her parents, and all of her older siblings. She is loved by many nieces and nephews as well as several great-nieces and great- nephews. She always will be remembered as a person who was full of life, with joy in her heart, and a love for God, family, and neighbor.

Visitation will be held at Riewert’s Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A  Service of Death and Resurrection will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 12^th at 11:00 am with final visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at George Washington Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
