Grace L DeRubeis

Grace L. DeRubeis (Ward) of Middletown, New York, formerly of Bergenfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 27th, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, Loretta, and Joseph Ward, and her brother Kenneth Ward and is survived by her niece Gabriele Diaby, sister-in-law Donna Ward, and long time friends Florence, and Marvin Roswadowsky, Thomas Ramos,Kevin Hartwick and Rich Berlin.

Grace was a nurse practitioner. She worked at various hospitals during her thirty year career as a registered nurse. She was a graduate of St. Peter's College, and the University of Medicine, and Dentistry. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends and enjoyed going to Starbucks for a coffee, with her friend Florence. Grace also had a big affection for dogs,especially her chihuahua Annie. She always had a great sense of humor, and made everyone laugh. Grace will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 9:30am for the funeral Mass at St. John's RC Church, Bergenfield, at 10. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Twp., NJ. Visiting prior to the Mass will begin at 8:30am.
