Harry J. Hegel

Harry J. Hegel, 93, of Bergenfield passed away on July 12, 2022. He was a Machinist for Hoke, Inc., Cresskill and an Army Veteran. Devoted husband of the late Margaret Hegel. Beloved father of Michael and his wife Donna, Thomas and his wife Amy and Joseph Hegel. Loving grandfather of Steven and his wife Melissa, Kelsey and her husband Brandon, Kyle, Kristi, Christopher and his wife Maggie, Emily, Kenneth and Griffin and great grandfather of Alexis, Russell and Amy Jane. Dear brother of the late Patricia Koopman and Margaret Lohman. Harry was actively involved in Bergenfield Little League for many years as a coach, Player Agent, Umpire-in-Chief and Official Scorer. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Wednesday, July 27th at 1:00 PM.
