Helen Jane Rovegno

Rovegno, Helen J. (nee: Spendley) of Upland, CA formerly of Bergenfield, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. Born in West New York, NJ on June 23, 1920, she was the beloved wife of the late James Francis Rovegno. Devoted mother of James Rovegno (married to Maureen) of Chautauqua, NY, Elaine Greco (married to Albert) of Bergenfield, NJ, Jeanne Riley (married to William) of Danville, CA, Carol Snyder (married to James) of Upland, CA, Warren Rovegno of Upland, CA and Kim Bauman (married to Russ) of Alta Loma, CA. Loving grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 9. Dearly loved sister of Marie Bradley and Evelyn Kasa. Her infant son Dennis preceded her in death. Well-known and respected, Helen was a life long member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Bergenfield and a long time and active supporter of the Bergen County ARC. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ on Monday January 17th at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John's R.C. Church, Bergenfield, NJ at 10 AM. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
