Jacqueline K. Metropoulos

Jacqueline K. Metropoulos (nee Klein), 85, of Emerson formerly of Bergenfield and Rutherford passed away on July 13, 2017. Born in Baltimore, MD she retired as an Administrative Assistant for Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. Beloved mother of Nancy Metropoulos, Laura L. Van Tassel and her husband Bruce, Diana Lawler and her husband Tim and the late Adele Ayers and the late Mary Smith. Dear sister of the late H. Millard Klein. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Ayers and her husband Stephen, Star Smith, Jessica Guarnieri and her husband Nick, Blake Hermansky, Tracy Smoker and her husband Matthew, Bruce J. Van Tassel, Stephanie, Christopher and Patrick Lawler and great-grandchildren Madison, Edward, Whitley, Jillian and Sebastian. She was a longtime member and Past Worthy Matron of Rutherford Order of Eastern Star, a member of the Second Reformed Church in Hackensack, an avid New York Giants fan and an avid sewer and quilter making clothing for her 5 children and quilts for each of her grandchildren. Visiting on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. Funeral service at the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.
