James W. Borchert

Borchert, James W. born on July 17, 1906 died on November 30, 2004 age 98 of West Caldwell previously of Dumont. Born in W. Hoboken (Union City), NJ he was a World War II veteran. Before retiring as an advertising executive, Mr. Borchert was a business publication Media specialist at BBDO Advertising Agency, NYC. He also did statistical research for McGraw-Hill on a consultant basis. He was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, Dumont where he served as financial secretary for 21 years. His wife Elsie predeceased James in 1991. Funeral service at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer Washington Ave., Dumont, NJ on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. The family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Redeemer Golden Memorial Fund.
