Rovegno, James Francis (Frank) of Upland, CA formerly of Bergenfield, NJ died after a long illness on Saturday, August 21, 2004. Beloved husband of 61 years to Helen (nee Spendly), devoted father of James, Elaine, Jeanne, Carol, Warren and Kim, devoted grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, father-in-law of Maureen Rovegno, Albert N. Greco, William Riley, James Snyder and Rusty Bauman and brother of Rose Caivano of Teaneck. Preceded in death by his infant son, Dennis, his parents Andrew and Victoria and 5 siblings. Born on July 18, 1918, Frank served in North Africa as a U.S. Army Master Sergeant during WW II, and retired from his life-long work as an ink salesman for the printing industry in 1990. Long active in the Bergen County ARC and the Bergenfield P.A.L., his passionate pastime was gardening. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Av. Bergenfield, NJ on Thursday August 25th at 10:30 AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John's R.C. Church at 11 AM. Cremation Laurel Grove Crematory, Totowa, NJ. Interment of cremains Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ. The family will receive friend Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
