John Alvarez, 88, of Bergenfield, NJ passed away on October 1, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was a Draftsman for Lucent Technologies and many other companies. Devoted husband of Gloria Alvarez. Beloved father of Lisa Osso and Debra Maldonado. Loving grandfather of Samantha and Sydney Osso and Adrianna and Jesse Maldonaldo.

Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 2-6 PM. All may meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield, NJ at 11 AM. Cremation will be private.
