John "Jack" Patrick McHugh

McHUGH, John Patrick, “Jack”, 80, on March 31, 2020, of Westwood, NJ. Reunited, and dancing again, with the love of his life, the late Eleanor A “Ellie” (nee Horine). Devoted father of Dr. John A. McHugh and Eleanor C. Romanelli and her husband Andrew. Cherished grandfather of Samantha. Dear brother of Eileen, and her husband, the late Peter McHale; also,  the late Gloria and William Bryan. Dear brother in law of Frances Jones.  Jack is also survived by his nieces, Courtney, Elizabeth and Jill and nephews Billy, Peter, Brian and Kevin. Born in the South Bronx. Longtime resident of Bergenfield, NJ.  Because of the present situation, cremation will be handled by Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, but there will be no services at this time.  A Mass of Christian burial will be said, and a celebration of Jack’s life will be planned at a later date.
