John Michael Kelly

John Michael Kelly passed away on March 26, 2022. Beloved husband of 59 years to Anastasia Kelly (nee Kennedy). Devoted father of Colette Kelly Zemp  and her husband James Zemp, and Christine Kelly and her husband Paul Hertz. He was born in Queens, New York and had resided in Dumont for the last 50 years. After he was sworn in as a federal attorney by Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, he worked for the federal government in lower Manhattan for 35 years. He was a graduate from St. John's Law School. John later went on to earn his Master's of Law from NYU. Visiting will be Tuesday 3-6 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield.
