John P. “JP” Maguire Jr., 71, of Bergenfield, N.J., passed away on March 23, 2022. He was born in New York City on September 12, 1950, to the late John P. Maguire Sr. and Ann M. Maguire (nee Karcher).
JP worked as an Iron Worker in NYC for many years and spent most of his life bartending at various bars in Hunter Mountain, at the Jersey Shore, as well as Cryan’s Tavern in Newark and Linden. He was a member of Knight of Columbus and Moose Lodge.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 1st 2022 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist R. C. Church, 29 N Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. A burial will be held on Friday, April 1st 2022 at 11:15 AM at the Mt Carmel Cemetery,10 Serpentine Rd, Tenafly, NJ 07670.
