John Montero

John Montero of Bergenfield passed away on October 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Modesta Montero. Loving father of Jacqueline Cornella and her husband Ronald and John L Montero and his wife Carmel-Ann Mania. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Cornella, Valerie Colangelo and her husband Lou, and Christopher Nicastro and his wife Lexie, and great grandfather of Matthew, Gwendolyn, Isabella, Gianna, and Alexander. John was an administrative assistant for the NY Transit Authority. A proud Army Veteran he was a long time parishioner of St Johns R.C. Church in Bergenfield, was a member of the Spanish Cultural Association and was a member of the 1st Calvary Division Association. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 North Washington Ave Bergenfield on Thursday at 10:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Entombment Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township.
