John F. Vyborny, 84, of Bergenfield passed away on November 13, 2014. Devoted husband of the late Catherine Vyborny. Beloved father of Barbara Vyborny, Susan Nahhas and her husband Karl and the late Thomas and John Vyborny and like a daughter Lorraine Peine and her husband Sid and their daughters Erica, and her son Joviani, and Jessica Provenza and her husband Frank, and their daughters Sophia and Angelina. He was a retired Maintenance Worker for Stoney Mull in Lyndhurst. A Marine Corps. veteran of the Korean War he was a member of Bergenfield Memorial Post #6467 VFW and was honored as the Grand Marshal of the 2013 Memorial Day Parade. He was a member of Bergenfield Fire Department Prospect Co. #1 and the Bergenfield Ambulance Corp. He was a parishioner and Usher at St. John's Church and served as a Crossing Guard for many years. Visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
