Joseph Walter Kuprel 87 of Bergenfield passed away on September 10, 2017. Born in Scranton, PA to Joseph and Stella (Kowalczyk) Kuprel. Devoted husband of Betty Anne Kuprel. Loving father of Barbara Seigal (Mark) and Lisa Kuprel, and step-father of Susan Stankiewicz (John); Michael Bumbaco (Holly), Sally Clark-Utans (David) and Mark Bumbaco (Pamela). Beloved brother of Martha Houck and Helen Sagan. Cherished grandfather of Alison, Christopher, Kenneth, and Amy Bumbaco. Dear uncle to many niece, a nephew, and great nieces. Joseph was devoted to family, faith and country. A master carpenter he worked for Local #15 in Hackensack, NJ. He loved to travel with his wife Betty Anne and visited destinations throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. Proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and a lifelong fan of the New York Football Giants. Visiting Thursday 9-10:30 AM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont at 11 AM. Interment Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.
