Jo lived her life to the fullest. She had such a love of traveling. Her love of cooking took her to Italy and many other destinations. She ate and laughed her way around the world and through any farmer's market she could find. She was "tough as nails" as she battled breast cancer for 20 years. She was kind, wise and could give you a recipe at the drop of a hat. Jo loved her family, doctors & staff and anyone she met. We miss her already.

It's unfortunate that we didn't get to spend more time together. She was a wise soul with a big heart. I remember her laugh like it was yesterday, it was contagious. It was impossible to be in a bad mood around her, she had an aura that could brighten the room. She will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace Auntie Doll

Who is Josephine? Sun kissed surrounded with a halo of blonde tipped curls! Sparkling doe eyes, vivacious, flirtatious, stilettos paired with flowing colorful stylish clothes, petite though voluptuous, dangling earrings! Full of love and laughter, caring, sharing, bravery and tears! She is my auntie doll! She hasn't left us, she went to a grander gala to join those who have gone before her and have been anxiously been awaiting her arrival! She needs to entertain again...to cook, taste, eat and share her sumptuous recipes! To love, hug and kiss those she has missed for so long! To dance the cha cha in her highest heels above the clouds! Auntie, enjoy your new home! Vibe nene! I love you and look forward to seeing you! Although it has been difficult for us to let you go, we know heaven needed a bright new star which is you! Shiny, glowing, and free! The golden girl that you are! In loving memory and gratitude, your niece, donna

What can I say about an Aunt that was always in my fondest childhood memories. Family beach vacations on the raft riding the fizzaroos in the ocean to the shore, getting browner then the brownies she would bake, trip to Mexico riding horses and her bouncing up and down and laughing so hard and peeing her pants! Fun loving and always with a smile on her face and in her heart. A home that was warm and inviting and full of candy!!! Two lucky cousins to have a mom as great as Auntie Doll, you will live in my heart forever, you will be greatly miss and loved. Love, Jacqueline

"Not all things that count can be counted, and not all things that can be counted count".... In all the stories I heard from Auntie Doll over the years it was clear she knew this. I remember her as such a loving person, always with a nice thing to say. And that's how I'll continue to remember her. She will live on in the stories she told us, which we'll pass on to our families. So sorry for your loss, but glad she was comfortable and surrounded by loved ones when she passed. Deepest condolences.... She will be missed.

Some of the most vivid memories from my childhood include Auntie Doll. Her delicious cooking, her house with all sorts of fun things for a little girl to see and touch, and her pinches on my cheeks. Most of all, I loved the stories she told about growing up with my grandmother, her sister. She was larger than life and will be missed so muchâa¦we love you. Love, Nikki, Brielle, and Avery
