Judith I Wakefield (nee Irons) from Cresskill formally from Bergenfield died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on November 4, 2023. Judith was born in Red Bank N.J. the daughter of Alfred and Lois Irons. She went to High school in Dobbs Ferry NY and in Teaneck High. She was a secretary at KBVE in Englewood NJ for over 25 years. She loved to travel especially cruises. Was on a bowling league in her younger years and a Girl Scout leader. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Weeks at the Jersey shore every summer was a tradition. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 63 years Daniel C. Wakefield, daughter Jennifer Wakefield, Granddaughter Rebecca Wakefield, Daughter in law Malorie Wakefield sister Barbara DeSantis, brother Alfred Irons, plus many nieces and nephews and so many wonderful friends she considers family She is predeceased by  her son Daniel Wakefield Jr. and brother Edward Irons. Her legacy will live on with those that loved her. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-6pm at the funeral home with a funeral Service at 5:45. Cremation will be private. Donations in her name can be donated to the ASPCA.
